My latest show, Dreamtown: The Story of Adelanto is a about Adelanto, California, a small Mojave desert town with an ambitious plan to go from a city of prisons to a city of pot and the wave of corruption that arrived in the wake of the Green Rush. My previous show, The Superhero Complex is an eight part series about the rise and fall of the the real life superhero Phoenix Jones. Before that I made a show called Welcome to LA, a collection of profiles of iconoclasts and eccentric characters, plus a few autobiographical tales. Before that I was a staff reporter at Marketplace and freelanced for a handful of radio stations and podcasts including 99% Invisible, Wiretap, Love+Radio, Unfictional, The Organist, and Snap Judgment. I also make a podcast called Random Tape and one time I tried to bribe a bunch of people for a New York Times story.
